Barby Keel was absolutely delighted to meet so many people yesterday afternoon.  She was still buzzing this morning and said that everyone had been really nice to her, they all said they loved her books and had given her loads of hugs and encouragement.  You all really made her day!  She said that she sold £130 worth of books herself and signed many more that had been bought elsewhere.

She has asked me to thank you all from the bottom of her heart for supporting the animals and making her feel so loved :-)

From Pier to Pier

On Saturday 2nd June the Barby Keel Animal Sanctuary Manager, Dan, with the help of his four legged friends will be doing a sponsored walk from Eastbourne Pier to Hastings Pier. It's a joint fundraiser with HSAM Help the Street Animals of Morocco (go to their website for details of their excellent work). The walk is approximately 16 miles and will take over five hours to complete. We have a sponsorship form in our shop in Bexhill or you can donate online by visiting our event page, just click HERE! All donations taken at the shop and online will go directly to the sanctuary. Thank you
